Ferry Deck Hand - Anticipated Vacancy

This is an entry-level maintenance and personal services role within the Maine State Ferry Service located in Rockland, ME. The position involves the general upkeep, cleaning, and maintenance of ferry compartments, passageways, and exterior areas. Candidates will also perform customer service functions such as assisting passengers with entry and exit and inspecting vessels to ensure safety. A key requirement is obtaining a Transportation Worker Identification Credential (TWIC) card within 30 days of employment.
