About this role

A Field Application Scientist in Korea partners with Sales to drive pre-sales activities and resin evaluation strategies for biopharmaceutical and CDMO customers. The role combines downstream purification expertise with commercial agility to accelerate the adoption of Purolite chromatography resins. Responsibilities include acting as a technical advisor during project design-in, leading resin evaluations, and supporting customers from discovery through manufacturing stages.

Responsibilities

Partner with sales teams to drive pre-sales and opportunity qualification activities
Lead resin evaluations and proof-of-concept studies for biopharmaceutical customers
Provide technical leadership on design-in strategies for chromatography solutions
Support process development activities from discovery to pilot manufacturing stages
Collaborate with R&D and marketing on regional market intelligence and insights

Qualifications

Master's degree in Life SciencePhD in Engineering≥5 years downstream purification experience
