About this role

Koch Finishing Systems is seeking a Field Control Technician to install, commission, and service automated finishing systems across the United States. The role involves on‑site troubleshooting of industrial control systems, mechanical installation support, preventive maintenance, and direct customer interaction, with up to 75% travel.

Responsibilities

Conduct equipment commissioning, calibration, and functional testing
Troubleshoot and debug industrial control systems including PLCs and HMIs
Respond to field service calls and resolve technical issues on‑site
Assist with mechanical installation and start‑up of new systems at customer sites
Perform preventive maintenance, system audits, and support upgrade projects
