Field Density Technician

The Field Density Technician supports Lapeer, Genesee, and Shiawassee Counties by testing materials and assisting in maintaining or modifying aggregate gradations to meet customer demands. This entry-level position involves operating large asphalt compactors, monitoring density through daily paving operations, and collecting core and hot mix samples. The role offers on-the-job training and the opportunity to attend the Ferris Construction Institute for industry certifications.
