About this role

The Field Engineer, Electrical at GEM Technologies is responsible for supporting the Electrical systems at the Uranium Processing Facility (UPF) within the Y-12 National Security Complex in Oak Ridge, Tennessee. This role involves providing field engineering expertise, ensuring compliance with electrical codes, reviewing submittals, managing material procurement, facilitating safety and quality control measures, and coordinating with subcontractors. The ideal candidate will have extensive experience in electrical work execution, familiarity with design standards, and preferably a background in DOE or commercial nuclear construction projects.
