About this role

The Field Network Centralized Operations IT Analyst supports Oxy's Onshore Resources and Carbon Management assets by monitoring, troubleshooting, and escalating telecommunications, network, and SCADA issues. This role involves managing service alarms, coordinating with field and vendor teams, and composing outage notifications to ensure rapid resolution of customer-impacting incidents. The ideal candidate thrives in a fast-paced environment, working 12-hour rotating shifts to maintain network reliability across global operations.

Responsibilities

Monitor and troubleshoot telecommunications and IT service issues
Resolve or escalate network and service monitored alerts efficiently
Identify and dispatch personnel for field repairs when necessary
Compose and send outage notifications to internal and executive stakeholders
Track and update network problems in the trouble ticketing system
