Field Quality Engineer

This role owns the end-to-end data-center hardware quality and reliability loop for OpenAI’s third-party infrastructure and first-party platforms. The position focuses on transforming field failures into quantified risk, driving root cause analysis, and implementing upstream changes to prevent recurrence. It requires a blend of hardware expertise, reliability engineering, and data fluency to lead cross-functional initiatives at scale.
