Field Technician I

A Field Technician 1 at GDIT supports MK 41 Vertical Launch System (VLS) equipment on US Navy ships by fabricating, installing, maintaining, and repairing electronic and mechanical components. The role involves working in shipyard and naval base environments to ensure operational status and correct deficiencies in accordance with strict Navy requirements. Candidates must possess or be able to obtain a Secret security clearance and have the ability to drive stake trucks and perform heavy lifting.
