Finance Director

Under executive direction, this role develops, directs, and manages the financial operations of the City of Mesquite, including managing and safeguarding City financial assets and facilitating the effective use of public tax dollars. The position involves overseeing the Finance Department, preparing the annual operating budget, and ensuring compliance with governmental accounting standards. The Finance Director also acts as City Treasurer and provides expert financial assistance to the City Manager, Mayor, and City Council.
