Financial Accountant

This role involves ownership of a subset of entities within Canary Wharf's Retail segment, focusing on preparing and reviewing statutory accounts under FRS 102. Key duties include conducting trial balance reviews, managing quarterly close processes, liaising with auditors, and supporting intercompany transactions. The position also contributes to wider finance activities such as tenant creditworthiness analysis and implementing process improvements for financial reporting. Working closely with the Commercial Finance team, the accountant ensures accurate segment reporting and investigates variances to budget.
