Financial Accountant

This role involves recording, evaluating, and adjusting the financial accounts of the County to ensure the accuracy and timeliness of information within the accounting system. The position requires preparing journal entries, processing financial transactions such as ACH and wire transfers, and maintaining organized records to support financial activities. The incumbent will also communicate with department staff, respond to auditor requests, and utilize the County's financial accounting systems effectively.
