About this role

The Financial Capability Case Worker provides targeted, short-term support to individuals and families experiencing financial stress or vulnerability. Through practical financial coaching, budgeting, and individualized case planning, the role helps clients develop the knowledge, skills, and confidence to make informed financial decisions and build greater financial wellbeing and resilience. The position involves working within the Financial Wellbeing & Community team to deliver person-centred, trauma-informed support across community locations.

Responsibilities

Provide targeted financial coaching and budgeting support to individuals and families
Develop and review client-led case plans to build financial knowledge and resilience
Conduct trauma-informed assessments and advocate for clients to access community resources

Skills

Qualifications

Degree in Social Work, Community Services or a related disciplineFinancial Literacy Education certification
