Nā 'Ōiwi Kāne is a Native Hawaiian nonprofit organization founded in 2001 with the mission of empowering the Native Hawaiian community to achieve lasting success through a recommitment to Native Hawaiian values and culture. The organization established an endowment through its controlling interest in several for-profit companies, using those funds to provide grants for programs and projects that transfer the skills, values, and practices of the traditional Hawaiian way of life to the most vulnerable members of the community. Based in Kailua, Hawaiʻi, Nā 'Ōiwi Kāne continues to grow the reach of its community outreach programs to strengthen and uplift the Native Hawaiian community.
