Financial System and Transaction Manager

The Financial System and Transaction Manager role involves leading and managing the operational management of the Systems and Transaction teams, ensuring the production of key performance data and the delivery of timely and professional reporting. The position requires leading VAT accounting processes in compliance with HMRC guidelines and acting as the main point of contact for VAT-related matters within the Council. Additionally, the role contributes to the production of the Council’s Statement of Accounts and represents the Council on key financial system project workstreams.
