About this role

EquipmentShare is seeking a Financial Systems Controls & Assurance Analyst to design, implement, and improve scalable SOX-ready controls across financial systems and business operations. This role partners with Finance, IT, and Analytics teams to strengthen audit readiness, validate control effectiveness, and support sustainable growth in the construction technology sector. The analyst will utilize SQL and various reporting tools to validate completeness, accuracy, and authorization within system-generated data and workflows.

Responsibilities

Design and implement scalable SOX-ready controls across financial systems
Partner with stakeholders to enhance ITGCs and application controls
Evaluate system changes to identify control impacts and risk
Build operational workflows and evidence standards for audit support
Validate system activity and audit evidence for accuracy and authorization

Skills

Qualifications

Bachelor's degree in Information Systems, Accounting, Finance, or Business Administration3+ years of experience in SOX compliance or IT controls2+ years of experience using SQL for data analysis and reconciliation
