Fire Apparatus Engineer

The Fire Apparatus Engineer serves as the first-level full-time driver/operator within the Fire Department, responsible for the safe and efficient operation of fire engines and emergency apparatus during both emergency and non-emergency operations. This role involves responding to fire, medical, and rescue calls, performing firefighting and emergency medical activities, and assisting Fire Officers with tactical operations and training. The position requires maintaining equipment, participating in fire prevention efforts, and ensuring compliance with safety standards.
