Fire Cadet

The City of San Bruno Fire Department offers a one-year, unpaid volunteer program providing hands-on training and introductory knowledge of firefighting skills and equipment. Participants respond to emergency calls, render Basic Life Support, and engage in daily station duties and training. The program is designed to meet the training requirements for California State Fire Marshal’s Office Firefighter II certification upon completion.
