Fire Prevention Division Manager

This position is responsible for managing all activities of the municipal fire department’s fire prevention and fire inspections division, directing investigations of fires and explosions, and overseeing fire prevention inspections of commercial and industrial buildings. The role involves administering and enforcing fire prevention codes, supervising fire investigations, and developing public fire safety education programs. The incumbent serves as the Authority Having Jurisdiction for fire code interpretations and coordinates with other agencies on safety initiatives.
