Firefighter Candidate

The Firefighter Candidate position is an entry-level role for individuals who do not yet hold all required licenses and certifications for a Firefighter I classification. Candidates are considered firefighters in training and will not perform emergency response duties until successfully transitioning to the Firefighter I role. The position requires meeting specific educational, citizenship, and certification prerequisites, including EMT-Basic, Paramedic, or Firefighter I and II credentials, along with a valid CPAT/OPAT certification.
