Firefighter

This advanced, specialized skill working level position is responsible for driving and operating firefighting and emergency response equipment while performing skilled firefighting and emergency service duties. The role includes conducting fire inspections and prevention work, maintaining station and equipment, and assisting with the training of fire personnel. Incumbents are expected to be fully trained to perform technical equipment operation assignments and normal firefighting duties.
