Fleet Technician

This journey-level position is responsible for independently performing inspections, preventative maintenance, and routine to difficult repairs on District vehicles and equipment. The role involves diagnosing and repairing engines, transmissions, and other mechanical systems, as well as fabricating tools and conducting safety inspections. The incumbent exercises judgment and initiative to ensure the safe and efficient operation of the transit fleet.
