Crusoe is seeking a leader to architect and build a utility-facing, safety-critical control system for flexible compute, reducing data-center power draw on demand while protecting critical workloads. This role involves defining the system architecture, shipping the first production system, and building the team from scratch to manage grid signals, dynamic power management, and GPU power estimation. The position requires deep expertise in distributed control planes, data-center power systems, and energy markets to ensure reliable, verifiable load reduction without impacting paid workloads.

Responsibilities

Own curtailment orchestration and decision layer for grid-signal ingestion and staged shedding
Land utility-validated pilot with fast ramp to setpoint and high-fidelity telemetry
Build workload-aware GPU power estimation validated against fleet telemetry
