Dominion Dynamics
Dominion Scout is Canada's first autonomous collaborative platform, a clean-sheet, sovereign aircraft designed autonomy-first to fly alongside fighter jets and operate in Arctic conditions. The Flight Controls Engineer designs and tunes the aircraft's flight control laws, from dynamic modeling through flight test, ensuring the control system holds across the full envelope and in challenging weather. This role involves turning mission requirements into GNC requirements, proving the design in simulation and on the rig, and closing the loop with telemetry from real flights. The engineer works alongside autonomy, simulation, test, and manufacturing teams to take the aircraft from design to first metal to flight.
