Flight Examiner Standards, Fixed Wing

A key role within the Civil Aviation Authority's Licensing and Standards Unit, this position involves conducting flight examinations for industry-based examiners to ensure regulatory compliance while researching and directing policy on flight standards. The Flight Examiner will engage with external flight training organizations to advise on regulatory requirements for flight training, licensing, and ratings under Part 61. Travel and time away from office locations are required to undertake flight tests and assessments across New Zealand.
