The Patient Care Assistant II is a clinical support role working under the direction of a Registered Nurse to provide direct patient care and contribute to unit operations. The role supports clinical tasks such as blood glucose monitoring, EKGs, simple dressing changes, and responds to medical emergencies using CPR/AED skills. The position also promotes patient- and family-centered care and assists with patient transport, admissions, and basic comfort measures.
