Forensic ACT Peer Specialist

The Forensic ACT Peer Specialist serves as a core member of a multidisciplinary treatment team, providing non-clinical support, mentorship, and advocacy to individuals with serious mental illness, co-occurring substance use disorders, and justice system involvement. This role leverages the specialist's lived experience in recovery to promote hope, choice, and empowerment while supporting participants through outreach, crisis recovery, and reentry phases. The position involves fostering trusting relationships, facilitating connections to natural supports, and helping individuals navigate behavioral health and legal systems.
