Forest Fire Equipment Operator (S)

The Forest Fire Equipment Operator (S) is responsible for maintaining and operating heavy equipment such as bulldozers and hauling units for wildland fire suppression, prescribed burning, and forestation activities. The role includes minor equipment repairs, assisting with emergency response, and may involve participation in incident management teams and forest management programs. Work hours are typically 8‑5 M‑F with on‑call availability during fire danger periods and occasional overnight travel.
