Forestry Technician I (S)

The North Carolina Forest Service is seeking a Forestry Technician I to assist with servicing landowner requests, promoting forestry education, and protecting natural resources through wildfire suppression planning. The role involves responding to emergencies such as wildland fires and natural disasters while working with the County Ranger to provide services to residents and landowners across North Carolina. This position requires readiness for extended hours, overnight travel, and successful completion of employer-provided Ranger Training.
