Forestry Technician I - Wildland Crewmember

This seasonal position involves completing wildland firefighting activities, including preparedness, response, and mitigation/recovery of wildland fires and other natural and manmade disasters. The role requires participating in all aspects of fire suppression, such as initial attack, fire line construction, and mop-up, while also engaging in daily physical training and project work when not on assignment. The position demands a high level of physical and emotional endurance, with long hours during the fire season typically lasting from late spring to early fall.
