About this role

RTX Collins Aerospace is seeking a highly experienced Electrical or Computer Engineer to join the growing Avionics FPGA/ASIC team. This onsite role involves the design, implementation, and verification of high-performance ASICs, FPGAs, and SoPCs for legacy and next-generation display and networking products. Candidates will employ industry best practices, manage full product lifecycles, and support critical certification processes such as DO-254.

Responsibilities

Design and implement high-performance digital architecture for ASICs, FPGAs, and SoPCs
Develop RTL code and simulation environments using VHDL, Verilog, and SystemVerilog
Perform synthesis, place and route, and static timing analysis
Create DO-254 DAL-A certification artifacts for airborne electronic hardware
Mentor other engineers and provide technical guidance across the product lifecycle

Qualifications

BS in STEMAdvanced Degree in STEM2 years prior relevant experience
