About this role

Caterpillar Inc. is seeking a Senior Software Engineer (Java Full Stack Developer) to design, develop, and maintain full-stack features for fleet management and equipment monitoring systems. The role involves building RESTful APIs, creating responsive Angular front-end applications, and implementing geospatial visualization capabilities within an Nx monorepo architecture. This position requires collaboration with cross-functional teams in an Agile environment to deliver high-quality software solutions for cloud and on-premises distribution targets.

Responsibilities

Design and develop full-stack features using Java and Angular within an Nx monorepo.
Build and consume RESTful APIs and real-time WebSocket messaging channels.
Create responsive user interfaces with internationalization support using Transloco.
Implement unit, integration, and end-to-end tests using JUnit, Cucumber, and Playwright.
Diagnose and resolve production issues across the full stack including logs and runtime errors.
