Functional Safety Architect

Velaura is seeking a Functional Safety Architect to own the functional safety architecture for its Physical AI System-on-Chip (SoC), defining how chips detect, contain, and respond to faults to ensure safe operation in the physical world. This foundational role spans silicon, firmware, platform software, and product teams to establish the company's functional safety strategy and lifecycle from architecture through production. The position involves leading safety analyses, defining safety mechanisms, and building a safety case to support certification for safety-critical applications.
