About this role

The Gas Commissioning Lead is a senior technical leader responsible for defining and executing the end-to-end commissioning strategy for large-scale reciprocating engine and gas turbine power generation assets. This role acts as the primary technical authority during the transition from engineering to operations, overseeing third-party teams, upstream design reviews, and the validation of plant-wide control systems. The position requires ensuring long-term reliability and performance guarantees while managing complex multi-OEM system architectures across a diverse fleet.

Responsibilities

Define and execute end-to-end commissioning strategies for power generation assets
Lead the review and refinement of EPC contract exhibits for complex projects
Direct and manage third-party commissioning teams to verify project progress
Oversee validation of plant-wide control systems and hybrid SCADA environments
Lead the technical transition to operations teams ensuring accurate documentation transfer
