About this role
The Gas Control Specialist monitors Ameren’s natural gas system using SCADA to identify alarms and abnormal operating conditions and initiates actions to maintain safe, reliable service. The role is based in Decatur or Pawnee, works twelve-hour rotating shifts covering 24/7/365, and requires living within a one-hour (50 miles) commute of the reporting location. Training is provided predominantly in Decatur and varies based on the candidate’s knowledge and skills.
