The Gas Gen Training Tech - Operations role supports the safe and reliable operation of a combined and simple cycle generation facility, focusing on learning and performing equipment start-up, shutdown, monitoring, troubleshooting, and maintenance. This hands-on position requires a strong safety focus, mechanical and electrical aptitude, and the flexibility to work rotating shifts, weekends, and holidays. The role involves working independently and as part of a team to build technical knowledge for plant operations.

Responsibilities

Perform operations and maintenance on combustion and steam turbine plant equipment
Execute Lock-Out-Tag-Out procedures and high voltage switching on substation equipment
Troubleshoot and repair mechanical, electrical, and water treatment systems
