Gaussian Splatting (GS) Intern

This internship focuses on investigating Gaussian Splatting as a future streaming format and exploring improvements for practical deployment on consumer devices. The role involves researching model compression strategies, characterizing trade-offs between model size and quality, and developing proof-of-concept systems. The intern will work within the Video Algorithms team to address technical challenges in 3D/4D scene reconstruction and novel-view synthesis.
