ONWA (Ontario Native Women’s Association) is a provincial Indigenous women‑led organization that advocates for the rights, health, safety, and leadership of Indigenous women, girls, Two‑Spirit people and families across Ontario. It delivers culturally grounded programs and services—such as healing and wellness supports, violence prevention, training, and community capacity building—while also engaging in public education and policy advocacy. ONWA works with member communities and government partners to advance equitable outcomes, cultural revitalization, and greater self‑determination for Indigenous women and their families.
