About this role
The General Counsel Intern at SFMOMA is a full-time summer legal internship supporting the Museum’s in-house legal department. The role provides exposure to legal issues in museum administration, including intellectual property, labor and employment, governance, tax, contracts, and fine arts insurance. The intern will gain practical experience through research, writing, drafting agreements, and observing client meetings and hearings. This 9-week program also includes structured educational programming about museum careers and the context of the Museum’s legal work.
