General Counsel

The General Counsel is the chief legal officer for Salisbury University, providing legal advice and strategic counsel to the President, Cabinet, and senior leaders. The role ensures the University operates in compliance with federal, state, and local laws and University System of Maryland policies, manages institutional risk, and supports the University’s mission. The General Counsel collaborates across academic and administrative units and serves as a key senior advisor on legal matters and emerging higher education challenges.
