General Counsel

The General Counsel serves as the chief legal advisor to the Housing Authority of the City of Los Angeles, providing strategic legal counsel to executive leadership, the Board of Commissioners, and senior management. This senior-level role oversees all legal services, manages the internal legal team, and directs outside counsel to support the organization's operational, regulatory, and strategic objectives. The position acts as lead counsel for litigation, procurement, and affiliated entities while advising on governance, policy development, and enterprise risk management.
