After School Matters is a Chicago-based nonprofit that runs after-school and summer programs to help teens discover passions and build skills for life beyond high school. It offers hands-on learning across arts, communications, STEM, sports and career-focused internships and apprenticeships, including paid work-based learning opportunities. Serving thousands of Chicago teens each year, the organization partners with schools, community groups and corporate sponsors to expand access, support postsecondary pathways, and prepare young people for careers and civic life.
