General Volunteer

The Vernon Hills Park District general volunteer performs a variety of tasks depending on the assigned area, which may include working with the public, administrative duties, or manual labor in parks. This unpaid position exposes volunteers to a broad range of low-level parks and recreation situations to provide community service and extend the district's resources. Volunteers must be at least 13 years old and agree to submit to a background check if over 18.
