Generation Cables Lead Engineer

This role serves as the lead engineering authority for the onshore underground section of export cable systems connecting major offshore wind farms to the onshore grid. The position oversees the full lifecycle of the onshore cable route, from early design and consenting through construction, commissioning, and handover into operations. The incumbent ensures all engineering activities meet project requirements, industry standards, and regulatory obligations while optimising safety and long-term asset performance.
