About this role
The Geologist (Researcher I) supports bedrock and hydrogeology research and mapping at the Wisconsin Geological and Natural History Survey, providing field and laboratory support for collection, analysis, and reporting of geological and hydrological data. The position is based in Madison, WI, reports to the State Geologist and project PIs, and requires travel and overnight fieldwork across the state. This is a 2-year terminal appointment with partial remote work (up to 2 days/week) available per policy.
