This role ensures safe rock mechanics and ground control operations at the Eleonore mine by conducting underground inspections, collecting geotechnical data, and managing seismic risk strategies. The incumbent performs comprehensive geomechanical studies using numerical modeling, oversees ground support systems, and trains the underground workforce on geotechnical issues. Key duties include designing rehabilitation plans, analyzing monitoring data, and coordinating with the Geology department to maintain industry standards.
