Geotechnical Engineering Technologist

Stantec is seeking a Geotechnical Engineering Technologist to work on a full-time rotation basis out of the Edmonton office, reporting to the Site Supervisor. The role involves completing operations maintenance and surveillance monitoring tasks for earthen structures at active mine sites and civil earthwork projects, working independently in the field with support from the Field Supervisor and Project Manager. This position requires adherence to site-specific HSE policies, documentation of observations, and troubleshooting technical issues to deliver high-quality results.
