About this role

The GFMES Sr. Principal Associate – Environmental serves as the senior technical authority and program owner for waste management within the Indianapolis Environmental Services team. This role sets program direction, establishes standards, and applies senior-level judgment to complex waste issues across hazardous and non-hazardous streams at the Lilly Indianapolis campuses. The position is accountable for the effectiveness of the waste management program, including compliance assurance, third-party vendor strategy, and long-term liability reduction.

Responsibilities

Define and advance multi-year waste management strategy across Indianapolis site network
Establish and maintain waste management standards, procedures, and governance frameworks
Lead regulatory agency interactions and inspections for waste matters
