About this role

The Global Cloud Platform Technical Design Authority serves as the primary technical authority for implementing and governing cloud infrastructure across Belron's AWS and Azure estates. This role ensures all infrastructure changes align with approved architecture, security standards, and operational objectives by providing independent technical oversight and design assurance. The position acts as a mandatory approval gate for cloud changes, collaborating with engineering teams and vendors to drive technical excellence and platform stability.

Responsibilities

Act as global technical authority for cloud infrastructure implementation design across AWS and Azure
Operate as mandatory technical approval gate for all cloud infrastructure changes before CAB progression
Enforce adherence to cloud platform standards and assure alignment with approved reference architectures

Qualifications

Bachelor’s Degree - Information Technology, Computer Science, Engineering, or equivalentMaster’s Degree - Information Systems, Cloud Computing, or Technology ManagementAWS Certified Solutions Architect – ProfessionalMicrosoft Azure Solutions Architect Expert (AZ-305)ITIL v4 (Foundation or higher)
