About this role

The Senior Associate, Demand Insights supports Amgen's Global Supply Chain by generating demand analytics, forecasting insights, and performance indicators to enhance decision-making. This role integrates global product-level forecasts with regional perspectives to identify trends and support Integrated Business Planning (IBP) processes. The position leverages statistical forecasting methods and demand planning systems to transform complex data into actionable insights that optimize cost and ensure supply alignment.

Responsibilities

Generate and validate demand analytics to inform consensus forecasting processes
Apply statistical methods to monitor forecast accuracy and detect variances across regions
Develop KPI reporting for demand performance and forecast bias metrics
Execute opti/pessi scenario analyses to evaluate business risks within IBP
Maintain data integrity in global demand planning systems like Anaplan or Kinaxis

Skills

Qualifications

Bachelor's degree in Business, Economics, Supply Chain, Engineering, Data Science, or Statistics2+ years of experience in demand planning or supply chain analytics
