The Global Health Security (GHS) Advisor is a host-country national embedded within the Public Health Institute of Malawi (PHIM) to provide hands-on technical assistance for disease surveillance, outbreak preparedness, and public health emergency management. The role supports implementation of U.S. Government health security priorities and the bilateral MOU between Malawi and the United States, coordinating technical support across human and animal health sectors and with development partners.
